The Manchester Group was set up approx 15 years ago. Myself and fellow RS Enthusiast Neil Abell felt the group was a little stagnant so together we spoke to some of the other members of the group and decided to make some vital changes to help the group progress. This was back in '95 and since then we have grown into a fairly large and friendly group.

We have a strong number of regular members with every possible RS from MK 1 to the Focus RS and around 50 fully paid up members.

We run a sub's system within the group where each member has the option to pay £ 20.00 a year for subscription, you don't have to be a member of the National RSOC to join our group (there are benefits to being a National Group member). The benefits of being a paid up member of the Manchester Group are the option to enter their vehicles in for "The Car of the Night" Trophy, they can display their vehicles on the club stands at any of the local shows which we are attending and also RSOC National Day as well some Classic Car shows.

In addition to this paid up members are able to join us in any other group activities.

Those who choose not to enter into the subs system are still welcome to attend the monthly meets.

In all we are a friendly group who will make any new members feel welcome, so why not come along on the 1st Tuesday of every month 7.30 onwards and meet a few of the lads and lasses.
